What's up with that Vitamin A

on

Parrots need a lot of Vit. A, so much so that you have to look for which natural product contains it in large quantities.
You can find this vitamin in large amounts in, for example, peppers and broccoli, but also in the skin of, for example, the cedar nut.
Beaked whales naturally do not have mucous membranes and therefore need this vitamin for optimal function.
If a parrot gets too little of this, the absorption of nutrients slowly decreases and your bird can develop respiratory problems and inflammation of the eyes and eyelids.
The bird becomes lethargic because it can absorb less energy, and calcium and other minerals are also absorbed less effectively, causing the bird to enter a downward spiral.

Vitamin A can therefore be seen as the core where everything begins and ensures that your bird remains or becomes balanced
That is why many products from Greenparrotshop already contain, for example, carrot, bell pepper, and broccoli by default.
