The holidays are just around the corner
Everyone really wants to get that Christmas feeling that
we often don't realize in our enthusiasm that...
- that the resin of the Christmas tree can get between the feathers or in the beak
which can cause serious problems...
- Not every tree is safe to gnaw on, some are even poisonous!
Don't forget that Christmas centerpieces can cause the same problem....
- Scented candles... not all candles are safe, dangerous substances can be released...
- Of course with the fireplace on and candles burning, always exercise caution,
as far as I'm concerned, a no-go thing
- The Christmas decorations nowadays must be flame retardant, this is done with chemical substances
that are safe for us but toxic if birds nibble on them here...
- Christmas baubles... that get bitten to pieces with all the misery that comes with it...
- Slings where birds can get entangled...
- Christmas decorations that are eaten and cause constipation or zinc poisoning...
-the cords, always a party for birds but still need to be careful,
they can probably get stuck in there or get a shock...
Those are just a few things you easily overlook... while with gourmet cooking you're actually so alert that no Teflon fumes are released
We wish you and all the birds very nice, relaxing, and safe days
Do you have any tips and tricks... they are always very welcome!
